    More bakelite stuff muzzle flash reducer boxes, or well, pieces of boxes. All dated 1943 or 1944.

    and after 75 years still there!! why can't make items of war to last that long anymore? I for one love the pictures, keep em coming, never get tired of em!.

    I only take photos
    Over the years I've occasionally rescued items from trash piles for preservation but that has always been an exception - usually I take absolutely nothing. That said, I do think at least that one canister with the stamps still visible (shown earlier) deserves to be rescued. I would love to see it in a museum
