no, I use a hand saw for metal.
Unfortunately, I do not have a band saw.
Then I grind the surfaces with abrasives of different fractions.
Then painting, I paint with pieces of paralon.
I do not paint the brass parts.
I think unpainted brass is prettier.

I've developed quite an interest for such Things (collect mainly documents pertaining to them) seeing as you also appear to be in middle Europe i thought I'd ask where one can procure them
