Yes I am a WW2 digger in Romania. So you find romanian things there and I find soviet things here. So what a turn of events mate. PM for anything you need. Cheers

The water flask is Romanian one, not a Polish Army issue.
It is a fact however, that Romanian Army used the gas masks of the Polish manufacture type "wz.32" - they were the same as the Polish Army model, except different markings (e.g. guide notes in Romanian language).

Yes, that is a Romanian water flask most definitely. I have a nice example from Stalingrad. The Romanians tended to use whatever flask was at hand, German, Romanian, Italian, or even Austro Hungarian. Very rare to find one with a cover though. I'm wondering if those flask are only post war?
