i hate you boys overseas - you get all the fun!
Excellent finds and very well preserved - what were you planning on doing with the munitions? Have you found any PPsh?
I was going to go detecting in Darwin this year - i might go to broome to see the aircraft wrecks at the end of the year.
The Finnish ammunition look so new. My grandfather is from Karelia.
Great finds!
Those Finnish rounds look as though they could be chambered; the strip is even factory-fresh-looking...
I've heard it said that the vast majority of Western Russia is one gigantic relic repository, given the sheer amount of combat that occurred. A neighbor of mine, an electrician who emigrated from the Baltics, said that when you put a spade to the earth, you had to be careful -- you'd never know what you might hit.
Awesome just awesome i hope one day i'll find a bunker just like that!! keep us posted!!
Love these digs
