I bought these damaged items for only $1 with some other stuff from a guy who dug them up in Stalingrad but I don't know what they are from or for. Obviously I know that Walther made guns but is this some type of case? And what is up with the German helmet guy? My finger is in the first pic for scale. Any help would be much appreciated as I can't figure it out. Thank you!

I think the first item is a cigarette case or something similar, with a depiction of the Walther factory at Zella-Mehlis in Thuringia. I have seen another example -- or one very like it -- but I can't remember where. Not sure about the other item.

The first item is a part of a gun cleaning box for a commercial Walther PP or PPK pistol. Early pre war version. It would have contained mineral oil and a cleaning cloth for the pistol. Second item is a common Wehrmacht matchbox cover.
