These pics do show this dagger in a way better light!
Its a honest piece with a good blade only lightly cleaned, light skrinking of the wood is visible on the guards and it pressed out the outer wingspans a bit.
scabbard has suffered a bit from bad storage, but it is what it is.
The grip has its natural finish and has not been cleaned.
Overal a nice dagger, you did fine!
