unfortunately no traces of motto...may be possible to have a Rohm dedication with the eickhorn trademark at this distance from the guard??
I just taken notice of the top of the Eickhorn logo being worn down. Just a thought.

Two of my favorite tiger grips
The one on the left is (S) and the one of the right is (Nrh).

this Puma has a nice tigerstriped grip, showing a nice black burn.
The Wusthof isnt a tigerstriped grip, it sanded down to get the striping, but a real tigerstripe is always dark in colour, never a sand down light colour, because the tiger cpattern wasnt burn into the grip.
