An original piece and an fairly uncommon to see maker-Karl Tiegel of Riemberg. Not in super great condition-the blade has been badly cleaned and it's been disassembled before, but an honest original.

It's possible that the scabbard is for the 'Tiger' SA shown recently.
The dagger does not fit the throat of the scabbard well.........

Good point! So many of the guys just figured "a sheath is a sheath", so maybe he swapped it because he liked this particular one better! You should try it on the other and see if it fits any better. it might Not, but it's worth a try, anyway! lol
