This beauty belongs to GDC member "Nats" and with his permission allowed me to share this hidden wonder. Take notice to the low crossguard step..only seen by Suhl producers of Haenel..Kober and Sauer. Enjoy Thankyou Nats
The scabbard is painted for some reason..and is specified by "Nats"

This one seems to be a mid period one, as the early ones are full nickel with anodised scabbards and a gau mark.
This one has a few "transitional" signs:
early logo blade, but no Gau marking, and painted scabbard instead of the anodised ( although im not certain that its a period paint...)
Here a few pics of a complete early Helbig posted by Dyzner...man i love this WR database..and my good memory, knew ive seen an early before.... LOL

The McSARR scale includes both SA and NSKK early daggers. As far as "desirability" goes, the scabbard color is always a secondary consideration for me. However, if all other conditions are equal I'd prefer the SA "anodized" scabbard over the painted one.
