    Good evening Forum,

I am thinking of adding this SA dagger to my collection. I do not own one of these yet and feel I am missing out.
The one being offered is a late RZM piece by Holler. The RZM mark and the AfD Motto looks good to me. The metal looks silver plated and quite okay.

I would appreciate some comments on the crossguards and scabbard. Do the parts fit the piece or is this a parts dagger and not worth pursuing?

    Thank you.

I do not think it is parts dagger, as these later ones didn't be so good quality as early ones. Plated crossguards are correct for later ones.
About scabbard, it looks like it may have been re-painted? Or it just looks like it.

Personally, I would try to hunt early or transitional SA dagger

Late and uncommon production year 1941 but correct.
The later the production the more these were assembled quickly with the fittings available.
I see no issues with it.

Too bad. Seller sold it a few hours before I accepted the offer. Guess this dagger flew out of my grasps. Thanks for the opinions.
