What a shame ! ..Was a real Transitional and an uncommon producer / RZM combination.
If the period leather held up along with the condition of the dagger including the grip which damaged ..it might be worth some money.

I would encourage you to read through some of the threads here and also using the forums search engine at the upper right hand corner for Early SA daggers.
