This style of thing has it origins in England in the 1970's but this one looks newer so clearly this kind of butchery carries on. Shame.

This bayonet is at the same shop as the other bayonet I posted last week... he bought both of them from the same guy in Germany on a recent trip... he did tell me upfront the etching was done post war... I just wanted to hear your opinions

Ade when i was a young colector i had 7 of these
and i then believed they were original
i sold them all to Chriss farlow
he gave me good money for them back then
but he told me that they were fake and new made
that was about 1983
not sure about ther date
as i had a lot of dealings with him over the years 1970 throgh 1984-5
