Usually a long silence is never a good sign You can't always know "Everything about Everything" and obviously the Fakers do not need any help on fixing their errors.
I just was hoping for a thumbs up or down or even a PM I'm not a wealthy person and cannot afford to make a fair offer on a replica and then have to keep it as a painful reminder. I did however pick up a nice Eickhorn DLV from the same person so it was not a total waste. Note to self "Hit the SS Dagger posts more often!"
I hope this post will come in handy when deciding to take a chance or not.. Like the sayings go .."You Cannot Un-Ring the Bell" and "You cannot get them All"

    Regards, Geoff

    Geoff,

My specialty is the M1933 SS daggers. I only have one chained SS dagger and that is because the dagger is an early Puma.

The only thing I can say is that the chain seems to have more wear than the scabbard. Some of the chain chinks have been re soldered while the scabbard looks relatively un-used except for a paint scrape or two. Perhaps others can add to this.

The center ramp is fake and feel it was added to a fake postwar or Spanish made scabbard.

There is specific detail in that ramp that is not present.
All it takes is one wrong detail as I had said before with SS daggers to bin it.
