I believe that the "downy right" motto caracteristic (left) of this dagger is caused by the camera angle.

I can't give you advice on the signature but, I don't like the gap between the blade and the crossgaurd.

Athor, here is a link to a thread on this forum. Spend some time studying the inscription, down load the images and place them side by side with the threads subject dagger inscription images. I think with these you can arrive at your own conclusion of the dagger inscription your entertaining to acquire. I found the images of daggers I've had but the images were taken to far away to be of help.

Thank you Rich, but I've already do this, so I do with the SIEGER's book and have noticed nothing really wrong to let this piece go.... Acid to engrave the motto never go always the same way I believe....
