Here are two helmets that were rusted together. I separated them and cleaned them. They were stuck together with rust.

Photos of the finished clean shells, the helmet on the inside has an extra hole in the skirt, I have not seen that in any m-35/40 helmet before.
Yes they were dug up in a bunker. Sorry I cannot get those photos to roll upright.
