Salty but still a cool helmet. NJ only made shells in size 62, so this example is a little bit more scarce. Looks like a pretty early example of transitional with its single ply alu band and squared bails etc.

Is it pliable enough to see any manufacturers stamps? Any chance of a closeup of the decal remnant on the right side? And a closeup of the National shield which is normally on the opposite side - has the appearance of a Reichswehr period insignia.
