Is this foggy sticker original?
Can't say with certainty. The patina of the paint (from your pics) looks as it should. The heavy wear of the decal has me wondering why, when the paint is in pristine condition. Sorry to say I don't know. Too much wear on the decal to say yes or no.
Looks like somebody sanded the decal
Cleaning the helmet vigorously does that to a decal.
Cheers,
Emile
Hi, looks as though there is evidence of a white wash around the vents and near the pins. For me, this is a "scrubbed back" helmet, that has caused the decal damage and the extra "smooth" paintwork. It looks a touch untidy, but is original from what i see. Leon.
Yes...this could be. The first pic...the side view, the air vent hole has no paint, rust, patina. Down to bare fresh metal. The other air vent retains full paint coverage. As Emile states....someone may have gone a bit overboard trying to clean the helmet & scrubbed too hard on the decal.
this helmet is sold at 160 euros, is it worth the price.
Well spotted Leon. Blurry decals are often the warning sign of a "scrub back".
