M42 Stahlhelm ND, with owners initials.

Hello,
Decided to share some photos of one of the helmets we recently found in a bunker. The helmet unfortunately was laying upside down, and liner was exposed to elements like spruce branches, mud, and the lid itself was in contact with chinstrap which caused a corosion, resulting with hole. No maker marks, lot nr. can be found due poor condition. The chinstrap has maker marking: "Schiele Loburg 1942", the liner leather has owners initials written with pencil: "Stahl." according to available information on open sources in that area was stationed 502. Grenadier regiment of the 290. Infanterie division in 1944./45.
