Repro liner, fake decal, bad paint, therefore wire is bad, shell very probably a repro. I wouldn't pay a dime for it.
Torpeda..I have uploaded the photos onto your thread..please for future postings ...post NO links to forsale or auction sites. Once that item is removed by that site..your link becomes dead on this thread here and helps no one.

Sadly as more of these reproductions hit the market ( and are sold to unsuspecting buyers ) the price will creep up, and the average uninformed collector ( i.e. not a member of the WRF ) will not be able to discern based on asking price alone - if they knew the REAL value of an original these days, they would understand..... but by then the seller / crook has pocketed many hundreds of their dollars for just another copy.......

Typical ebay fake.
Thank you !
It occurs to me that as more and more of this kind of nonsense appears in the market and especially online that it starts to appear authentic by default when the inexperienced search the net for "originals" to compare against the piece they are hoping to authenticate. Taking this "source material" at face value they end up comparing a fake to another fake thus coming to the conclusion that the fake they are researching is original. After all, if it's on the web it must be real right?
