Fallschirmjaeger M38, ET66 - near-mint - too good to be true?

Article about: Hello friends, This is my first time delving into M38s, so I would be grateful for any help. This one is an ET66, lot no. 5058. I'm no expert by any means, but I would like to think it looks

    You do not need to buy from Lux to get great items , I don’t. Never will.

    I have to agree this looks like an absolute minter, although out of my price range..

    Like others have commented, Lux seem to stock absolutely top-drawer items, and, although pricing seems 20-30% above normal, for lower priced items it isn't usually too bad. I have purchased a couple of helmets from there, including a late war M38, and both have been top notch. 'You pays your money and makes your choice' as they say.

    Lux is the European version of The Ruptured Duck. Always above market value.

    In the case of this helmet, its 3,500 Euro above the market price of other sold examples. Much higher in USD and GBP.
