Yes, fake from the ground up. Hope you did not pay too much for it. A good rule of thumb too.........don't believe stories!

I am not a collector and have no experience. I received the helmet in certain circumstances. I know nothing about the prices of this type of helmets. The screws were heavily rusted and I unscrewed and cleaned them. Maybe even better that it is a fake because otherwise I would probably go mad!
