I found this M38 helmet for sale, but I am not sure if this is genuine or not.
May I ask you for help?

I'm not sure I like the font. Especially on the "7". But the photo is a bit blurry so I can't be sure.

Has the helmet been chromed or is this just it stripped back to bare metal?

Been in a pretty fierce fire by the looks of it! ..... melted the rubber cushion and charred the liner & chinstraps!!!!
A pity, it may have stood a chance.

Both are bad. Reproductions. If you want a real one, stay away from these.
