Sorry, but it looks like a cheap Chinese fake to me. A genuine helmet has a characteristic 'dip' to the front rim when viewed from the front, and this example doesn't appear to have it. There are other pointers too, such as the fold to the rim... and the whole lot looks artificially aged. Take some time to look at other threads on the fj helmet forum, there are posts aimed at making you aware of what to look for.

Here are some photos of an original example for comparison. In addition to the red flags mentioned, fake aging is a common sign of a reproduction. While it may seem hard to see, it was the first thing that struck me about your example. NH

Thanks for your help. I am still new and very inexperienced in collecting paratroopers helmets. So far, my collecting area has been paratroopers dog tags.
