Shellacked Decaled FJ Helmet
Hi everyone, I'd like to share this Fallschirmjager Helmet thats been shellacked & the liner has had some kind of treatment done to it as well. I'm working out a deal with a fellow collector and would love to gather some opinions on it before I make a plunge. My main concern is the helmet bolts are possibly reproes. But until better photos of it to confirm that its hard to tell. He is asking $3900 which I believe is a fair estimate for a decaled FJ helmet. I would love to hear some thoughts on this helmet and if its worth paying that much for a helmet thats been messed with. I know the forum doesn't do evaluations but just call me crazy if that price is too high.
