YES. I'm Happy new owner and glad to have this historical item back.

And, I have concluded my research of the tunic original owner, Mannerheim cross holder Veikko Karu, Ace of 10 air victories, 3 of them made during Winter war. He lived 1910-1991.

I did make re-research of the issue and compared people photos from SA-kuva photo archive, and only Veikko Karu matched the tunic 100%. Actually he wears the very same m27 uniform in photos.
He gained rank of Major at July 1944.

Immola 1943.01.15 with German Iron crosses. He got Mannerheim cross 2 months later.

There was ribbon holder threads in pocket for Iron cross, and hole for Mannerheim cross.

And another thing, hat has changed in the set.

I did wash the hat clean, and found surname NUOTIO inside leather band.(Eng = Campfire) And it doesnt match Veikko Karu hat details in his photos.

Searching Nuotio surname was easy this time. There was only one airforce cadet officer with same name: Aarne Aulis Nuotio.

He was Lieutenant Blenheim bomber pilot, took part in winter war and gained VR4.
He died in accident at 18.12.1940 during night-time training exercise when his piloted plane Blenheim BL-125 crashed unknown reason 4,5 kilometers before landing strip. Bomber full crew of 3 people, pilot, co-pilot & radioman and turret gunner, all died in the crash.

Somber reminder of realities of the war.
Someones kept the hat as memento of him.
