Really nice collection, good variety and specially all those leather carriers.
But I did notice one common theme in all. Lots of black dots on dry blades. Oil your blades!

Take care of your collection. Use normal gun oil and cloth is good way to start. Rat-tail bayonets included. Wiping metal scabbards with oil cloth is also good but don't use WD40. WD-40 damages/melts the paint, gun-oil won't.
I have oiled all my own and newly acquired bayonets. Maybe tiresome job but someone has to do the preservation. Shiny blades are more fun to look at afterwards.

    Counter question about rat-rails.

I never really paid attention about what is so special about 30° and 60° degree socket cut in m/91 bayonets. What makes another one of them more collectable?

    Hi,

From what i know, most common one is 30°, and 60° and 90° are more rare ones, 0° is rarest. Have you got Reino Kärhä book?
