    Greatcoat or Ulster Overcoat?...
    well that first one is M36 Mantteli from 1941 Majors Mantteli if im not totally wrong?... bit rough shape but i make something out of it...
    but this second one i was wondering does it have had any military purpose?... winter coat, made of wool, no markings...

    Buttoning right side over the left is woman's greatcoat. No military purpose, except if we don't take into count winter war model "Cajander uniform" which is civilian clothing with national cockade and army belt.
    Other thing is home-front air surveillance Lotta's who used warm civilian coats at winter, not enough Lotta-Swärd greatcoats for everyone. Or civilan cloths were just warmer.

    Text-book major m/36 greatcoat, major rank is nice.
    People often mistake and label all dark-collar colored greatcoats into m/22-36, which is actually modified older m22 greatcoat originally.
    Officers may keep top three highest buttons open, and have stylistic fold it open.

    hah yea it occurred to me that it could be womens coat...
    Lotta svärd i didn't thought about that yea it very well could been worn lotta member lots of grayish clothes they had...
    well hard to say on these things sometimes thanks anyways!...
    yea m/36 greatcoat is stylistic fold open now i need to take all its buttons off its has taken some moist damage it wasn't really preserved best way...
