    That's a nice flag with a few mottos and the recipient's name.

    Please take a single front-on photo of the flag. I really get frustrated with trying to piece together jigsaw puzzles.

    Ikuta Bunpei-kun Nyūtai
    Mr. Ikuta Bunpei [for] Joining the Military

    Ikuta is his surname, Bunpei is his given name. ~kun is a familiar way of saying ~san/Mr.

    入隊, Nyūtai means "enlistment", but literally 入 (entering) the 隊 (corps; unit; squad).
