Help with a Japanese flight helmet

Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine was showing me a leather flight helmet that he was interested in selling me. I am not knowledgeable at all when it comes to these, so I’m looking for advice fro the more knowledgeable. I look forward to hearing from everyone

Vic,you have a IJN summer flight helmet I'm not sure of the type, that was made in October (10) in the Showa year of 19 ( 1944 ) out of the Yokosuka depot size 1 (large)

Yes, if I remember correctly it was there. The helmet looked barely worn at all. When I get it, I’ll post some better photos

I am picking it up tomorrow evening. I can’t wait to get it. I will also be picking up a What I am told is a Japanese field desk. I’ll post photos of that too.
