Help with kanji, please
Was hoping I could get some clarification on this kanji: 火工
I found it in a techou within the specialty bracket and unfortunately I am away from my dictionaries. On the surface, "fire engineer" is the translation, but obviously something more nuanced than just that. Is the designation for a flame thrower operator? Something else entirely? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

火工品
Priming materials .... maybe 火工 is an EOD engineer?
Found it (but fuzzy) here.
火工 (手)
Explosive Charge and Powder Handler

Could be better to provide a snapshot of the techou itself?

Unfortunately, booklet is not in my possession.
Thanks, Guy, exactly what I needed.

Tokugyo code for explosive specialist was originally a simple 火 , but changed to 火工 in May 1941, then went back to 火 in March 1943, as shown in my passbook story.
