    Here’s pictures of 3 different cups. One I recognize as the navy proficiency award but the other two are different. Can any of the members here help me identify the other two?

    House mark:

    Humbly Made by Oya [King Shop]


    Purity stamp:
    純銀
    Pure silver [sterling]

    Navy Cup:
    釀*定檢賞大正五年
    Brew * Examination PRIZE Taisho 5th Year [1916]
    Difficult kanji because they are in the old seal-script. I cannot make out that second kanji .... and I have no idea what "brew" has to do with this .... unless it's for "sickbay alcohol punch."

    Thanks Nick!! HOLY COW. I saw the Taisho date so tried to read the entire thing from left to right. I guess I should have read from center mass:
