    Hi Pat,

    Image right side up and made more legible. Mostly names. I don't collect flags but some folks here are amongst the best to ask when it comes to these (and others are just plain nice).

    The flag is upside down. It was given to a soldier by the name of Ohkawa and the shrine stamp is from Daihou Shrine in Shiga Prefecture, established in the year 701 to stop the spread of a pandemic like what we are facing now. Their current stamp for reference below.
