Executed by a person with no knowledge of calligraphy, stroke order, balance, etc.

Glad you checked first. These are probably the notorious "Samurai Monkey" of ebay shame. Others are hard to diffentiate because they are being faked by Japanese who have very nice calligraphy. Here's a link of six pages that is worth reading.

His faked Test Type 1 bayonets on ebay are ridiculous! A danger to those who collect militaria. Yet he has a 100% rating on ebay...go figure!
