Japanese flag look authentic?

Hey guys,

I was looking into Japanese flags recently and might have the chance on one but wanted to see what you guys think. The flag looks period along with the tabs but i'm still a rookie and I might be overlooking some things in particular the handwriting. I know these are so hard to judge with all the fakes and flag modifcations out there but I wanted to see what you guys think .

Agreed. I see nothing wrong either, other than being a bit scrunched up.

Nice to see them signed - some are completely covered
and some have no writing at all.........

Thanks for the input guys . I've always liked Pacific Theatre stuff although most of my collection is from my grandfather when he served in Europe. I was really hoping to get this flag but only for a good price. Now I feel a bit more confident in trying get a good deal. Thanks for helping this rookie!

Thanks to Japanese nationalism there are plenty of these flags to go around. Every militaria collector has to have one of these. This looks original to me as well.
