Japanese helmet cover
I got this cover a couple of years ago , it came on a helmet with a net but I knew the set was not 'together' since the war.
Just recently I decided to display the cover separate from the helmet.
I never saw the inside before and I never saw the exterior of the helmet it sat on so that was nice to see as well :-)
Nice touch is the star imprint.
Hi Schwerpunkt , Thanks for posting this nice cover , we don't see many of these so really good to see it . It looks to be dated 1941 and i like the wear and tear it shows and the faded colour , the ghost mark of the star is a nice touch also . Any chance you could show the helmet also
