Japanese knife markings ?

Does anyone have knowledge of the markings on this blade. Unusual knife. Do you think its (war made) military or occaupied post ww2 . anyway a Kool peice. thought i would share.Regards Deadeye

Its a tool. Maybe for ikibana , flower decoration.

I thought it was a carpenter's knife, but it is a bonsai grafting knife. The kanji says 登録 "Toroku" [registered] and 福二郎 "Fukujiro" [a first name].
