Japanese Type 30 Bayonet No Markings

I recently picked up this type 30 bayonet. There are no markings I can find on it. Were there cases of such bayonets having no markings? My Grandfather used to own a couple with markings on them, which is why I am asking. Thank you.

I have heard that before. Did that mean Japan specifically created bayonets with no markings for the purposes of training their soldiers?

Most likely for students in schools not the military, I could be wrong
