Thank you so much Guy. I am really surprised how much info you have provided. In picture here is exactly the same silver mark. It is partially obscured but maybe more readable
Your badge? It is named to

    寺田武次
    Terada Takétsugu

武次 can also read as Takéji, Takéshi, Takétsugi

    第七期
    Class/Term 7

Yes, the "silver" kanji is easier to read; I still cannot make out the first one ... it does not look like "pure" to me. The "M" below the kanji in question might be a stylized "fire" radical that normally appears as four dots: . Even then, the only kanji with 灬 that pairs with 銀 are:
    燻純 - oxidized silver
    熏銀 - oxidized silver
自然銀 - natural silver/native silver. Too many kanji!

And I don't think any of those are correct.

Maybe Nick will save the day????????

This second one isn't my badge. Image was taken from world war 2 wings website. I thought its sharpen resolution might help recognize kanji symbols.
Thank you so much for all your work here. It is amazing!
