    For the clone seekers, here are the scabbard Haikan measurement differences as calculated from the photos. The clone had its center of gravity further away from the Tsuba, so the Haikan position was shifted to allow the clone to hang with the right balance. Hoped to do this in mid August, but my laptop got heatstroke and I only now recovered from the setback.

    It would be one of the Yamagami brothers, Akihisa or Munetoshi, as only they used that stamp.

    1943 Munetoshi, still on ebay at the moment.
    So what is this stamp actually used to signify?
    i haven't seen it before, that i know of.

    The meaning of the encircled 松 stamp is unknown. Below is a link to a list of known swords though.

    I found some photos of the leather hanger for Type 95, it might be for cavalry use.It's a little big for Type 32.
    This style hanger is on Fuller's book P40.
