    Here is a recent addition to my Japanese collection. To be honest with you i have no clue what it is but it's listed as a "Talisman Blanket". I'm guessing these were given to soldiers as a "good luck" sign of some sort? Comments from the experts are welcome of course

    That is a Japanese towel called Tenugui (literally "hand wiper"). It can be used as a headband.
