    Hello everyone,
I just bought a wool IJA uniform and it is in great shape, but I have a question. Can anyone tell me what the stamps inside the jacket say? I really would appreciate it.

Hi Kevin, the oval circle at twelve o'clock says Type 98,the depot stamp below says from right to left, size large, next block Kanji for Showa 16 (1942),last block says Osaka Depot. The blank blocks on the left are for the owners name etc., this tunic was never issued, the rank was probably sewn on post war and it's also upside down. The square on the bottom left says the Fukusuke Co.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I realized that the insignia was on upside down when I first saw it. That can be corrected pretty easily. So, it is a size large, this thing looks so small. Haha

    Kevin, Showa 16 is 1941 not 42
