WWII Japanese Sword---real deal??

OK. Thanks Bob for all your help! I have another sword coming next week. I will post pics when I get it. Question: I have 2 Jap flags that have wording in Japanese all over them. If I were to send you pics, would you be able to translate them? I'm not so concerned about names as I am in places, dates, etc. I just want to see if the flags make reference to the place they were located or anything else important in the research of the history of the flag. If that's OK, just send me your email address and I can send pics (or I can post a thread with pictures of them on this forum...makes no difference to me).
