Please help. Is it a graphic element of the medal or a signature of the manufacturer or designer? I think I can see the letters "M", "N" and "I" there.
Or maybe it's just my imagination ...

if I understand your question correctly, the cursive writing you highlighted is simply Mussolini's signature.

That was what it was all about! I admit I did not know it was a facsimile of Mussolini's signature. Your post also helped me. I found "V. Perrone" on my medal. Earlier, I did not notice the inscription because it is very small.
