questionable italian pole top

obviously, a cast piece(not very well done, but appears that a lot of them were not well done ) i see a lot of them made of brass,very rarely made of "white metal" or Nickel plated. i'm leaning on a reproduction made to fool collectors. any thoughts are welcome and appreciated.

I think you may be right. The top part of the finial "Spear" looks cast while the lower part looks authentic. I'm thinking someone screwed a replica onto real pole top attachment. hopefully the pole top collectors will give a more definitive answer.

it's an odd one for sure, it's hard to find info about them as well
