I thought I would show off some of my Regia Aeronautica, performance badges. These are all seem to be made from the same company and include 3 different build qualities. They were designed in 1940 and instituted in 1942 with all previous flights counting towards the grade received. The wreaths were bronzed but the grade was based off of the centre piece colour.
We have in top to bottom order
1) Air Assault / Combat - Silver Grade, 1 piece zamac - 30 actions.
2) Air Transport - Silver Grade, 2 piece zamac. Silver - 5 transport to Italian East Africa or 50 in North African Theatre or in the Aegean or 100 in Albianan or 75 variations of all the fronts.
3) Torpedo Aircraft - Bronze Grade, 2 piece zamac - 2 to 5 torpedo strikes
4) Aerial Observation - Silver Grade, 2 piece zamac - 40 recons over enemy territory or 120 costal recons
5) Interceptor - Silver Grade, 2 piece zamac - 30 take offs upon confirmed alarm or 20 actions over enemy territory or 2 aircraft shot down.
6) Naval Recon - Gold Grade, 2 piece tombac - 300 coastal recons or 100 high altitude recons or 200 convoy escorts.
There are a total of 10 different badges awarded. So 4 more to go, trying to keep them in 2 piece if I can but some are hard enough to find I will probably be willing to take them in 1 piece as long as they are this same maker.
