A few years ago at an estate sale I bought a P-38 pistol and in the box were several other items including this buckle. I know zero about buckles so I'm curious if this is original or not.

Nice buckle with most of its silver wash still on the roundel, very nice indeed

Nice original buckle but I think it is a nickel roundel. I believe the silver washed roundels are brass underneath.
