155/40 steel buckle - SS or no SS?

Good evening all. Will start with this buckle, of the group I acquired recently from an Estate auction. Its very polished on the front and is attracted by the magnet. There were 2 SS type buckles in the group, the other is a OLT with SS in a small diamond. It looks nice, is aluminum , but I read here that its a repro. So how about this one.? Thanks in advance for reply.

Thanks for the confirmation. Now to find the appropriate belt. Something black and 1942/43?
