2x SS Buckles & Belts Offered

Hello Gentlemen,
I’ve been offered these 2x SS Buckles & belts privately amongst a small convolute of WW2 German uniform items.What do members think about the buckles are they original ?. I've split the photos between two postings. They are offered for 300 euro for the two. Is that a fair price. Any information would be appreciated.

them buckles are sa not ss, as for authenticity im not up on these very well , rgds Dave

Yes, two SA belts and buckles. They are legit from what I see; both belts and buckles. Could the first belt have been repaired with those rivets? I've not seen period belts made that way. They are stitched usually. 300 Euro is not too bad a price I think - though it is on the high side.

Hello everybody,

Is that what prices for SA buckles haven risen to in the US? I'm shocked. Over here, you'll get a decent SA buckle for around EUR60-80 without looking too hard, and unmarked belts, especially repaired/reworked ones, won't add significantly to value.

The two SA buckles are perfectly original and sound, albeit not particularly exciting or particularly different.

The price with straps though is quite interesting.

These buckles in isolation (and as confirmed by Kurt) is Euros 60/80 maximum. The leather straps appear fine, although really, each set is not worth more than Euros 100/115 - absolute maximum.

Euros 300 for the 2 sets in my opinion is way too high.
