Default Belt Leather weight and repair linen thread

Does anyone know what the leather belt weight # is and linen thread size used? I have a belt that a portion of the threads are coming apart and want to try to prevent the assembly from coming apart & completely deteriorate. Talking with a leather holster person who does Luger/Walther holster repairs about this he mentioned leather sizes to linen thread measurement. The best I can tell is the leather belts of WWII Germany use a thread size used is 92-98. Another tidbit is the thread used is supposed to be a linen thread, and preferably waxed. The repair person pointed out the Irish linen thread is best to use.
