Help with a SS buckle

The buckle is original. It was made by Overhoff. The leather tab was not attached to the buckle at factory level and, of course, was not even made by the Overhoff firm. But it could have been period attached to the buckle by its owner for various reasons. I let you determine if this was done pre-1945 or post-1945.
